Charles Black joined the staff of Eastern Hills as Minister of Music in November of 2004. He has been in the ministry since 1969, and has served on the staff of Baptist churches in Texas, Illinois, Arkansas, and Louisiana as Minister of Music, Minister of Youth, Minister of Education, and Minister of Media. He was also the General Manager for two different Christian broadcast television stations in Arkansas and Louisiana, and hosted a live daily morning television program for several years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Charles studied Music Education at Baylor University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Music and Communications from Charter Oak State College in Connecticut.
He and his wife Donna have been married for thirty-six years, and have two grown children, Brad and Shannon, and one granddaughter, AnaBeth.
In addition to serving as Minister of Music for our church, Charles is also a certified public school music teacher. |
