The fact is: Jesus loves you! He loves you no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done. Jesus wants you to discover what it really means to live (John 10:10), but He won’t force it on you. He wants you to BELIEVE Him.
Like everyone else, you have experienced good and bad in the journey that has brought you to this very moment. Perhaps you’ve already discovered that “religion” doesn’t cover or fix lives. It doesn’t make up for our wrongs. That’s what Jesus wants us to understand: no amount of good behavior takes away our sin, which separates us from God (Romans 3:23).
But while we can’t remedy our broken nature or fix our relationship with God, Jesus can. That’s what makes the Gospel “Good News!” The Bible, which is God’s Word, teaches that while we were still broken and separated from God because of our sin, God reached out to us in love through Jesus (Romans 5:8). Jesus lived a perfect life in order to offer His life as a sacrifice for our sin. Think of it like an exchange. When we believe Jesus, it is as if He gives us His perfection and holiness, while at the same time He takes our life, as well as its punishment for sin. When Jesus innocently and willingly died on the cross, He was paying the sin debt so that all who BELIEVE Him will be debt free with the Father concerning their sin.
He simply requires that we genuinely BELIEVE Him. This means: trust Him. He is asking you to BELIEVE Him. Do you? He is pleading with you to trust Him. Do you BELIEVE Him? Will you, right now, trust Him? Say “YES” to Jesus!
If you’ve said “Yes” to Jesus, please send us a note that you’ve trusted Jesus and let us help you start your journey with Him!
